Was Nas An Influence For 180 Waves With The Fade?

Personally, I feel like Nas was an influence for many things, but when it comes to 180 waves... (sigh) let's talk about. I can only speak for myself, but I always said that I just wanted waves on top, I didn't quite want 360s all the way around, just a wavy top and a nice fade. For me, Nas was that inspiration, mainly because his fades were so clean ESPECIALLY when you add his signature part to it. For a few months I had the 180s and the bald fade all the way around, I had only gotten a part maybe once or twice but that was it. So, did Nas influence the 180 waves & the fade, I'll have to say yes ONLY because Nas was the only dude I knew from HIS era that had 180s, it could be possible people before him had them too, but I feel like Nas stamped it for the culture. Although Nas doesn't always wear his hair wavy, he still made an impact on the culture, the signature fade with the bevel blade, IS A MAJOR KEY!
