TWC: Where are you originally from? Where do you reside now?

Chico Nigelo: Detroit Michigan and I still live in Detroit Michigan

TWC: How old are you?

Chico Nigelo: 78 lol just kidding I’m 20 years old

TWC: Are you currently in school? If so/if not what was your major?

Chico Nigelo: I was in school but i had to say GOOODBYE! Lol but seriously though it was to mentally draining so I decided to leave and focus on my dreams but my major was film

TWC: How long have you had waves? What inspired you to get them?

Chico Nigelo: I had waves since the 3rd grade and my dad always had waves growing up so I was forced into having them lol

TWC: Do you have a favorite wave brush, durag, or product that you use daily?

Chico Nigelo: My favorite brush right now has to be the red by kiss hard brush the bristles are much harder than the Diane which gives me that pull I need and as far as product I’m using oils such as olive, argon, etc.

TWC: How long have you been involved with music/comedy? What inspired you to get involved with them?

Chico Nigelo: Man I been doing this music/comedy stuff forever I’m just know getting the courage to put it out now I don’t care what people think hell they can be bitter all they want big baby lmao and Kevin hart inspired me to do comedy I feel like we can relate same personalities, and we both short as hell lol sorry ladies chico is not 6’2

TWC: Do you ever plan on doing stand up comedy? If so/if not why?

Chico Nigelo: Stand up is most definitely on my list!! I’m pretty sure I’ll fit in hell people say I look like lil duval anyway lol so I’m pretty sure I’ll kill it!!

TWC: Your videos are absolutely hilarious are all of them based on your experiences, or a mix of other peoples experiences too?

Chico Nigelo: Thanks for compliment! And Definitely a mix of both I go through a lot of struggles and I turn all that pain into hunger! I also go after other people’s experiences

TWC: You're welcome! How long does it usually take you to create a skit, record etc. ?

Chico Nigelo: That depends on what type of skit I’m doing if it’s me ranting that usually takes an hour because I love to put effects and subtitles but once I feel like people start sleeping on me I say “awh hell naw big baby let me go hard!” And that usually takes a week or more lol

TWC: Explain the process of recording & how you come up with certain ideas for your videos

Chico Nigelo: It’s usually comes improv! Since I’ve been doing skits I have never wrote anything down but behind the scenes it’s a lot of work! I use a green screen approach when it comes to my skits so I have to get angles right, perfect lighting, making sure my audio is sync it’s a process but I love it!

TWC: Do you do all of your editing? If so/if not what software do you use?

Chico Nigelo: Yeah all the editing comes from me and I can’t give em the recipe lol it’s a whole lot of planktons out here trying to steal formulas lmao

TWC: Ha ha I feel you on that, Do you have any tips for upcoming wavers, comedians, or musicians out there?

Chico Nigelo: NEVER GIVE UP! When you first start off be prepared to go through that struggle! Mainly that struggle of being overlooked but always keep your foot on the gas!!! Never fold through hard times embrace the struggle!!! And never ever worry about what other people are doing get yourself straight!!!

TWC: Great advice man, definitely motivating & encouraging. What motivates you to keep going? As far as your comedy & music are concerned?

Chico Nigelo: The idea of winning!! All it takes is one video/skit to change my life and it I gotta go through a million to get to that one that’s what I’m go do!! And even when I do get my moment I gotta work 3,778 times as harder cause I could fall off at any moment

TWC: Who is your biggest inspiration & why?

Chico Nigelo: Meek Mill!! That dude be fly as hell! And I love his work ethic coming from nothing then turning his craft into profit! I used to watch all his freestyles with the baggy shirts and nappy braids now he driving around in rolls Royce’s!

TWC: Who's on your top 5 list of greatest comedians of all time?

Chico Nigelo: Kevin Hart, mike Epps, Russell Peters, Katt Williams, Chico Nigelo lol

TWC: Who is your favorite comedian & why? (If you have one)

Chico Nigelo: Russell Peters this dude is funny because he shed light on the Indian culture in a comical way

TWC: Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

Chico Nigelo: My YouTube Chanel will be wayyyy past 1,000 subscribers I honestly see myself as a celebrity I work too damn hard not to shine lol

TWC: What's on your playlist right now? When it comes to brushing (If you do listen to music & brush)

Chico Nigelo: All the brush sessions gotta be silent I gotta hear the bristles pulling them hair strains
